Hi, I’m Jennifer – the owner of An Occasion Events! Thanks for visiting my site. An Occasion Events is a culmination of one of my life’s passions and it is a true honor to share this passion with you!
My passion for the wedding industry started over three decades ago when I learned floral design through my agriculture teacher in high school. At the age of 16, I got my first job at a local flower shop in Santa Maria, California. It was at this little flower shop where I fell in love with all things flowers. I learned about floral design, customer service and events. This sparked my passion for floral design, so I attended floral design workshops and industry conferences to perfect my skills.
In 2003, my career in the floral industry came full circle, and I opened my first full service flower shop. Overtime, I was hired to work with a local steakhouse to manage their private events, which turned into a full time position overseeing their restaurant and bar. I was able to fine tune my knowledge on the food and beverage industry, which has helped and carried over into my career as an event coordinator.
There is not much more rewarding to me than being able to make my
clients’ dreams come true on one of the most special days of their lives!
While florals design and events may be a passion of mine, my greatest passion is my family. I am a proud wife and mother to three sons, two daughter-in-laws and grandmother to three amazing grandchildren. They keep me inspired!
